“Charlie looked very smart. I didn’t really speak to Charlie at all as we were only at the venue for a short while before we were going to the next and with photo’s etc, but Charlie made a point of coming to say bye before he left which was very lovely as we wanted to thank him for being so brilliant. Charlie was very professional before and during the day… his music was lovely and our guests loved him.”

“Our company is based in Austria. We were looking for a piano player for a sponsored lounge area during a exhibition/conference in London, which we attended. This task seemed difficult in the beginning, but once I had found Alive Network everything worked out well. With the description and demo files on the database it was easy to find Charlie Mappin. He was exactly what we were looking for. A very cultivated young musician with a perfect feeling for the atmosphere around him. This job was not easy because he had to play the piano in the centre of the Olympia Grand Hall, in a dedicated bar lounge area surrounded by exhibition stands. First we were told: this is not going to work, it will create noise pollution and will have negative effects. After the 3 days we were told: it was great, people even asked for more, people found the piano music extremely relaxing in this technical environment and it was the main reason the lounge area was always crowded with people.”
